Sean Dugan LAc, MAOM

Chinese Medicine Specialist

When you need Chinese Herbs, you need them to work. That's why Sean has dedicated his career to the mastery of Chinese Herbal Medicine. 

Sean is a board-certified Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is licensed by the State of Idaho and certified by the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Sean is a classically trained herbalist who specializes in internal medicine for the treatment of chronic disease. He practices Jing Fang Classical Chinese Medicine as well as TCM treatment methods. Sean uses distal acupuncture techniques including Tung and classical acupuncture, orthopedic (trigger point, motor point) acupuncture, and Xing Nao Kai Qiao acupuncture as needed for different conditions. Sean also uses non-needling therapeutic techniques such as cupping, guasha, moxibustion, and Tuina massage.

Sean has helped patients with a wide variety of conditions, including chronic pain (headaches, migraines, neuropathy, neck pain, back pain), digestive disorders (acid reflux, ulcerative colitis, IBS, diarrhea, constipation), gynecological conditions (menstrual pain, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS), men's health (BPH, ED), acute and chronic infections (sinus infections, cold/flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, MRSA, candida, EBV, shingles), cardiovascular conditions (palpitations, irregular rhythms, chest pain), respiratory conditions (asthma, allergies, sinusitis, infection), and autoimmune conditions (rheumatoid arhritis, ulcerative colitis, Hashimoto's, Guillan-Barre).

Acupuncture and Shiatsu Specialist

When you need expert hands to help you relax and feel better fast. Mara's dedication to refined palpitation skills allows her to accurately assess and treat a wide variety of complaints with Acupuncture and Zen Shiatsu. 

Mara has always been intrigued and amazed by the capabilities of the human body and mind. She brings a joy, creativity, and intuitive understanding of the body into her practice as an acupuncturist and bodyworker. With each treatment she strives to create an interaction that is comfortable, healing, and very human. She feels that every individual should have the care and support they deserve.

Mara is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine with the NCCAOM. She holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR where she studied acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition, and Tuina and Zen Shiatsu Massage.

Mara uses a variety of acupuncture styles including Master Tung’s Magic Points, the Balance Method, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, and orthopedic acupuncture. She also practices a variety of non-insertive therapeutic techniques such as Zen Shiatsu and Tuina massage, Essential Oil Acupoint Therapy, cupping, and moxibustion.
