Acne Treatment
Acne treatment consists primarily of internal Chinese herbal medicine treatment. All skin conditions come about due to an internal disease process, and the best and longest lasting treatment results from treating the internal condition with internal herbal medicine. Acne treatment duration is 6 months, though it can be shorter or longer for some patients. Acupuncture treatment may be added and is often helpful in reducing the emotional stress that acne sufferers experience.
Autoimmune Protocol
The autoimmune protocol is appropriate for a wide variety of autoimmune conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Reynaud's disease, and MS. The protocol regulates immune function, inflammation, and intestinal health. Rather than suppressing immune function, we treat the underlying factors causing excessive immune expression. Chronic viral, fungal, or parasitic infection are a few of the possible factors that can be causing auto-immune symptoms, which are addressed with this treatment. The autoimmune protocol consists of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment. There is also the option to use only Chinese herbal medicine.Cupping and Moxibustion may be included in Acupuncture visits. The treatment duration is 6 months, though it can vary depending on severity. Most patients find symptoms significantly reduced after 4 to 6 months, and some patients need continued maintenance after this phase.

Acute Lyme Protocol
The Acute Lyme protocol is appropriate in the initial stages of confirmed or possible Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases from a tick bite. Lyme disease can be very serious and life altering, so we utilize a specific methodology of Chinese herbal medicine for eradicating infection in the early stages. We recommend the Acute Lyme protocol for individuals who have had a recent, confirmed tick bite with bullseye rash or without rash but onset of flu-like symptoms soon after the tick bite exposure. This is intended to be taken alongside a 21 day course of antibiotics from your doctor. The duration of the protocol is 10 weeks. During the first 6 weeks we utilize herbs to eradicate the infection and follow up with 4 weeks of herbal treatment to help your digestion and immunity recover from the antibiotic treatment.

Chronic Lyme Protocol
The chronic Lyme protocol is appropriate for patients who have confirmed lab test or clinical diagnosis of Lyme disease and co-infections and continue to have symptoms such as chronic fatigue, neurological degeneration, chronic pain, tremors, chronic headaches, brain fog, poor memory. The chronic Lyme protocol consists of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment. There is also the option to use only Chinese herbal medicine. Cupping and Moxibustion may be included in Acupuncture visits. Successful treatment of chronic Lyme treatment requires long term treatment due to the recalcitrant nature of the pathogen. This initial phase of treatment is 6 months, and for many chronic Lyme patients some degree of treatment is necessary for 3 to 5 years.

Digestive Disorder Protocol
The Digestive Disorder protocol is appropriate for patients who suffer from a wide variety of digestive disorders. This protocol can be applied to acid reflux, GERD, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, SIBO, Clostridium difficile, chronic parasitic infection including worms, amoebas, bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. This treatment is effective both in patients with confirmed chronic infections as well as patients with any chronic digestive disorder. This treatment consists primarily of herbal treatment, though acupuncture may be included to accelerate the healing process. Through herbal treatment, this protocol reduces inflammation, regulates normal immune function, balances gut microbiota, and eradicates chronic intestinal pathogens. The duration of this treatment is 6 months. For patients with severe digestive disorders due to chronic parasites, some level of treatment may be needed for 2-3 years to recover fully.

Fibromyalgia Protocol
The Fibromyalgia protocol is appropriate for patients who experience chronic pain, chronic fatigue, joint pain, disturbed sleep, feelings of anxiety and depression, brain fog, poor temperature regulation, peripheral neuropathy, numbness, or paresthesia. This treatment protocol uses internal Chinese herbal medicine, herbal foot soaks, Qigong exercises, and Moxibustion treatment to decrease pain, improve energy levels, regulate immune function and temperature regulation, and circulation and correct tissue degeneration.

Acupuncture may be added in the later stages but is not necessary for successful treatment. The duration of the fibromyalgia protocol is 5 months. Many patients begin to see reduction in pain in 2 to 3 weeks.

Stroke Recovery Protocol
The Stroke Recovery Protocol uses Xing Nao Kai Qiao Acupuncture to improve neurological function, speech, gait, cognition, and motor function. Xing Nao Kai Qiao Acupuncture is the most widely researched and effective technique for post-stroke recovery. Patients can begin this protocol one week after they have a status of "stable" post-stroke, or they can begin years after a stroke. This method is also effective neurological damage from traumatic brain injury (TBI), brain damage from infectious disease, and neurological degeneration in Parkinson's, MS, and Dementia. This protocol uses a series of 10 acupuncture visits at a time. Every 10 visits the patient is assessed for improvement, and treatment is continued as long as we see continued improvement.

Psoriasis Treatment
Psoriasis treatment consists primarily of internal Chinese herbal medicine treatment. This treatment is effective in guttate psoriasis, plaque psoriasis, pustular psoriasis, as well as many types of eczema and dermatitis. All skin conditions come about due to an internal disease process, and the best and longest lasting treatment results from treating the internal condition with internal herbal medicine. Psoriasis treatment duration is 6 months, though it can be shorter or longer for some patients. Acupuncture treatment may be added to the treatment to speed up healing time and reduce stress.
Endometriosis Protocol
The Endometriosis protocol is appropriate for patients with a confirmed diagnosis or with similar clinical presentation. This protocol is effective with endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, as well as any severe menstrual pain and menstrual irregularity. Using Acupuncture, Moxibustion, internal Chinese herbal medicine, and herbal foot soaks, this protocol reduces pain, inflammation, and swelling. The duration of this treatment is 4 to 8 months, depending on severity.

Metabolic Syndrome Protocol
The Metabolic Syndrome protocol is appropriate for patients dealing with hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes or pre-diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, weight gain or any combination of these conditions. This protocol uses Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and dietary therapy to regulate blood pressure, improve blood circulation through the heart, regulate blood sugar levels, and improve metabolism. There is also the option to use Chinese herbal medicine alone. The duration of this treatment is 6 to 8 months, following which most patients benefit from maintenance through dietary therapy, exercise, and herbal medicines.

Maintenance Protocol
The Maintenance protocol is appropriate for patients who have no outright health complaints but want to improve their existing health and prevent future illness. This protocol uses Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Qigong to support and improve cardiovascular health, hormonal vitality, stamina, and immune health. The leading causes of mortality today are cardiovascular disease and cancer. In Chinese Medicine these occur due to impaired blood circulation, weakened heart function, and weakened immune function. Using these treatment tools can improve and maintain your health while helping to prevent disease.

Chinese Medicine excels at treating a wide range of acute and chronic disease, but perhaps its greatest strength is in maintaining health and preventing illness. While the benchmark for disease detection in Western Medicine is often set at when a body system is more than 60% failing, Chinese Medicine detects imbalances in health when they are as little as 5-10% below normal function. Chinese Medicine diagnostics can detect a problem once you have it, but also a problem you may develop in 5-10 years.
This protocol is also appropriate for patients who have completed an intensive course of treatment for a chronic condition and wish to maintain and continue to improve their health.
